Company Profile

Chinese Veterinary Medicine (Tang Yin) Biotechnology Co., Ltd was established in Tangyin, Henan—known as the "Hometown of the Three Sages"—through proactive advocacy and strong support from numerous renowned domestic experts and several pharmaceutical specialists, along with robust investment promotion efforts. The company’s primary project focuses on producing 10,000 tons of traditional Chinese veterinary medicines annually. Phase I of the project involved an investment of 145 million yuan, resulting in the construction of six standardized workshops and the installation of 18 advanced production lines. Products manufactured include granules, aqueous injections, lyophilized powders, tablets, oral liquids, disinfectants, insecticides, and traditional Chinese medicine extracts. Today, the company has grown into a large-scale, comprehensive, high-tech animal pharmaceutical enterprise integrating research, production, and sales.

Under the backdrop of growing antibiotic resistance, stringent antibiotic restrictions, and increasingly complex livestock and poultry disease outbreaks, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine has emerged as a promising solution for boosting immunity and combating inflammation in animal farming. Guided by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine—emphasizing preventive care before illness occurs, averting complications once disease sets in, and tailoring treatments to individual symptoms—China Veterinary Medicine Company joined forces with the Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2021 to establish the "Joint Innovation Center for Chinese Veterinary Medicine Industry Technology." This collaboration brings together leading domestic experts in clinical applications of Chinese veterinary medicines, focusing intently on addressing the core challenges of safety, efficacy, controllability, and stability in these products. The company has continuously integrated cutting-edge formulation technologies into its manufacturing processes, developing innovative, highly effective new Chinese veterinary medicine solutions that now boast a comprehensive product portfolio, distinct industry-specific strengths, and remarkable competitive advantages. In 2021, the company invested over 30 million yuan and successfully achieved the latest version of GMP certification. Additionally, it has already secured approval for its municipal-level engineering technology center, enterprise technology center, and designation as a leading agricultural industrialization enterprise. By 2022, the company was recognized as a high-tech enterprise, followed by its acknowledgment as an innovative small- and medium-sized enterprise in 2023 and a science-and-technology-focused SME in 2024. In August 2024, the company was selected as one of the 10 "Seedling Enterprises" prioritized for key local government support—a testament to its rapid growth and potential. Furthermore, in 2024, it earned recognition as a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SME. Today, the company’s product distribution network spans more than 30 provinces and cities across China and has expanded into several countries along the Belt and Road Initiative routes. With a strategic focus on deepening its presence in Central China while radiating nationwide, "China Veterinary Medicine" and "Chinese Veterinary Medicine" have become well-established brands, earning widespread acclaim and trust within the industry and among end-users alike.

"Good medicinal herbs mean good medicine." To ensure the quality and stable supply of authentic, high-quality herbs, the company has established GAP-certified cultivation bases for Astragalus and Licorice in Gansu Province, as well as a GAP-certified base for Leonurus japonicus in Inner Mongolia. Today, the company operates eight national-level GAP-certified bases for authentic medicinal herbs and three dedicated Chinese herbal medicine storage facilities. Moreover, leveraging its pioneering ultrafine powder cell-wall-breaking technology, the company has successfully addressed the longstanding challenges of high usage rates, poor efficacy, and slow results associated with natural plant-based solutions in livestock farming—providing a groundbreaking, antibiotic-free approach to sustainable, eco-friendly animal husbandry.
