This formula is carefully formulated based on a synthesis of classic ancient prescriptions for clearing epidemic pathogens, thoughtfully selecting and discarding elements to focus on the most effective components while avoiding unnecessary complexity. It also incorporates time-tested clinical insights from modern medical practitioners, along with the prescriber's extensive years of hands-on experience. Its primary therapeutic action targets the elimination of symptoms affecting various internal organs caused by pathogenic toxins.
The formula incorporates ingredients such as gentian root, rhizoma anemarrhenae, skullcap, coptis, and gypsum to clear heat, dispel fire, transform dampness, eliminate turbidity, and inhibit the replication of pathogens like feline coronavirus (FCoV) and canine distemper virus (CDV).
Using Rehmannia glutinosa, Red Peony Root, Moutan Bark, Water Buffalo Horn, and Gardenia to clear heat, disperse blood stasis, and prevent heat from entering the blood stage—thus avoiding symptoms like oozing bleeding and mucosal ulcers. [Indications and Usage]
This product possesses functions such as clearing heat, reducing fire, cooling blood, detoxifying, nourishing yin, and reinforcing vital energy. It is primarily indicated for treating febrile diseases in dogs and cats caused by the accumulation of external pathogenic heat and toxic factors. Specifically, it is suitable for managing fever, ascites, and jaundice associated with feline infectious peritonitis (dry or wet form); respiratory symptoms resulting from secondary bacterial infections following feline calicivirus, Mycoplasma, or feline herpesvirus infections (such as purulent eye and nasal discharge, fever, and coarse breathing sounds). Additionally, it can help alleviate coughing (either dry or wet), sneezing, runny nose (clear or purulent discharge), increased eye and nasal secretions, and rapid breathing—symptoms commonly seen in dogs infected with canine distemper virus, canine Pasteurella pneumonia, canine parainfluenza virus, or other pathogens causing single or mixed infections. Note that this product should be used in conjunction with a diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to the specific condition by a veterinary clinic.
[Directions for Use and Dosage]
Dosage method: Oral. Administer directly or using a syringe; alternatively, crush the medication and mix it into your dog or cat’s food, such as dry kibble, wet canned food, or meat puree. (If your pet resists, you can pair it with a small amount of shredded chicken, cat treats, or dog-friendly snacks to encourage ingestion.)
Dosage: - Young dogs and cats (under 3 months old): 1–2 tablets per dose, 2–3 times daily. - Small dogs/cats (<3 kg): 2–4 tablets per dose, 2–3 times daily. - Medium-sized dogs/cats (3–10 kg): 6–8 tablets per dose, 2–3 times daily. - Large dogs (10–20 kg): 10 tablets per dose, 2–3 times daily. - Extra-large dogs (>20 kg): 20 tablets per dose, 2–3 times daily. Treatment Duration: Typically, use the medication continuously for 5–7 days as one treatment course. For feline infectious peritonitis (dry or wet form), continue treatment for 3–4 courses.
