R&D Background:
In recent years, with the implementation of China's policies aimed at reducing and eventually banning antibiotic use in animal farming, coupled with the ongoing advancement of large-scale livestock operations, there has been a growing emphasis on food safety. However, antibiotics—due to their significant economic benefits in agricultural production—have increasingly been misused, exacerbating the challenges of controlling animal diseases. Moreover, excessive drug residues not only directly threaten human health but also pose indirect risks. So, how can we ensure the scientific and rational use of antibiotics? How can we promote safe medication practices while advancing the goal of healthy livestock management? As the *Huangdi Neijing* wisely states: "The superior doctor treats disease before it occurs, rather than after; this is precisely what is meant by 'preventing illness before it arises' and 'stopping its progression once it has begun.'"
----- In response to these challenges, a team of experts from Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the Lanzhou Institute of Veterinary Research, has embarked on innovative R&D and process technology advancements. They’ve developed a next-generation, antibiotic-free herbal super-fine powder product—TCM Veterinary Medicine No. 1—which primarily focuses on preventive care for poultry, particularly laying hens. Built on the foundation of promoting intestinal health and improving egg quality, this product aims to boost disease resistance and immune function, ultimately helping farmers enhance their economic returns. By aligning with the growing trend toward antibiotic-free, sustainable farming practices, TCM Veterinary Medicine No. 1 makes its grand debut as a revolutionary solution for antibiotic-free, health-conscious poultry farming!
